Local girl featured on tonight’s episode of “Toddlers and Tiaras”

(WTVM) -

An east Alabama girl is calling her friends over for a viewing party tonight.

They'll eat cake and watch her strut her stuff on TLC's Toddlers and Tiaras show.

Nine-year-old Deseray Stone made the cut to appear on the show after competing in a beauty pageant in Dothan, Alabama. She started competing on stage at 3 years old.

"It feels exciting," said Deseray. "I just want to see how they put me on the show. I'm just hoping they don't make me look crazy."

"Really excited," said Deseray's mother Deiry. "Deseray always wanted to do big things in life. I didn't think she would be on TV. We just thought it would be small community activity."

Deseray's mom says she doesn't push her daughter to do pageants, and it's all Deseray's idea.

The show was filmed in Atlanta in January and airs tonight at 9 p.m. EST.
