COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Columbus police say they have noticed a string of vandalized vehicles. At least 8 people reported their cars were broken into while shopping at the north Columbus strip mall this weekend.

According to reports, most of the cars were unlocked so the suspects reached in and took whatever was inside.

Several laptops, iPods and cash were among the items stolen.

Due to the rain, police were not able to dust for finger prints.
