NIOBRARA COUNTY, WY -

KOTA news of Wyoming is reporting that a Columbus woman was killed in a car accident earlier this week.

KOTA reports Sandra Frazier, 66, was driving south on US Highway 85 in Niobrara County, WY when the 2011 Dodge Caravan she was driving veered into northbound traffic, hitting head-on a 2000 Gulf Stream motor home driven by Muriel Henriksen, 64, of Rapid City, SD.

Allan Henriksen, 67, and Sandra Frazier were killed in the accident. Frazier's husband, William Frazier, was taken to the hospital in Scottsduff.

Muriel Henriksen was flown to Rapid City Regional where she is still hospitalized. The three children who were traveling in the mobile home were treated and released from a hospital in Lusk.

William "Bill" Frazier, 66,  is the chair of the Earth and Space Science department at Columbus State University in Columbus, GA.

Columbus State University posted the following message on its Facebook page Monday morning:

Our thoughts are with Earth and Space Science Chairperson Bill Frazier and his family this morning. Dr. Frazier and his wife Sandra were in a head-on collision yesterday in Wyoming. Mrs. Frazier passed away at the scene. Dr. Frazier was taken to a hospital, where he is currently in the ICU, but apparently awake and alert. He has a broken leg and other injuries, but is expected to recover.
