$1,800 stolen from Columbus High School

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus police are investigating the theft of $1,800 in cash from Columbus High School.

Muscogee County School spokesperson Valerie Fuller says the money was last seen on Friday.

It came from parking decals students purchased for their cars. The money was not yet put in a vault because it had not been balanced.

It was discovered missing on Monday.

Police do not have any suspects and are currently investigating.
