Beep baseball game for visually impaired at Golden Park

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Visually impaired teens and adults took to the field Friday night as the Columbus Midnight Stars beep baseball team hosted the Chicago Comets.

Dozens were in attendance to see the two teams square off at Golden Park.

The sport involves a ball that makes a beeping sound to help the visually impaired players.

Columbus will host the 2013 world series beep baseball games with Country's Barbeque as the sponsor.
