PINE MOUNTAIN, GA (WTVM) -
The skies over Callaway Gardens will be filled with colorful balloons tonight -- hot air balloons that is!
Callaway is hosting the 14th annual Sky High Hot Air Balloon Festival this weekend starting Friday.
There will be all kinds of activities ranging from hot air balloon rides to music and a guest speaker.
Balloon Meister Chuck Norton says this event is not only a good time, but has a big impact as well.
"Financially I think it brings a big boost because every year as far as this festival has been going on it's been a sell out so that brings a lot of money and helps a lot of people locally," said Norton. "But we also have a lot of fun and it's a lot of camaraderie between us and Callaway and the spectators."
The festival will continue on through Sunday at Robin Lake Beach in Callaway Gardens.
