Exclusive Preview of News at 6 & 11

Good evening from Jason Dennis, here in the WTVM newsroom. Here's what we are working on for the news at 6 and 11!

After nearly a half a dozen drowning deaths in the Chattahoochee River in the past month, residents want to know if the river is safe. We investigate and talk to city leaders about safety measures for swimmers and rafters.

We're now into day three in the trial of the man accused of killing a former Muscogee County school superintendent. Hear from the widow of of Jim Burns, as she takes the stand today.

And on this final night of the Democratic National Convention, we talk to delegates from Columbus who are at the arena in Charlotte for all the festivities. Also, hear highlights from tonight's speeches by Vice President Joe Biden and President Barack Obama.

Tell your friends, then join us for these stories and more tonight at 6 and 11!

See ya then,

Jason Dennis
