Muscogee County Coroner Bill Thrower is officially out of the race for re-election after failing to qualify as a write in candidate for the November election.  Elections Chief Nancy Boren confirming this to News Leader 9 tonight.  We'll tell you what it means for the contest.

President Obama to Fire Up Delegates

It's the big finale for the Democratic National Convention as President Barack Obama takes the stage to accept his party's nomination.  We'll have highlights from his speech and we'll also hear from local delegates in Charlotte for the convention.
