AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn is standing by a struggling Kiehl Frazier as the starting quarterback.

Tigers coach Gene Chizik said Sunday that Frazier will start Saturday against Louisiana-Monroe. The sophomore struggled throughout a 28-10 loss at Mississippi State.

Frazier had minus-2 yards passing at halftime and three completions for 18 yards through three quarters. He was also intercepted three times and lost two fumbles.

Chizik said enduring tough times is "part of a young quarterback's journey."

Backup quarterback Clint Moseley didn't get into either of the first two games. He started six games last season.

The Tigers are 107th nationally in passing offense and one spot worse in total yards.
