Public can vote on new GA wildlife license plates

Posted: Updated:
COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

The Department of Natural Resources needs your help choosing four new wildlife tag designs.

The potential license plate designs include a frog, a blue herring and a whale.  Proceeds will help support important conservation and habitat restoration.

The majority of non-game and some of the quail initiative are funded through these tag sales.

You have until September 15th to cast your vote.   Each tag costs $60.

Go to www.georgiawildlife.com  by clicking on the "Make Your Vote Count" link. You'll have to fill out a short survey before you are able to cast a vote.
