JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Tracey Lynn Garner is facing a second charge of depraved heart murder. This one in connection with the death of Selma, Alabama, resident Marilyn Hale.

The indictment alleges that Garner, on or about Jan. 13, 2010, "Did kill Marilyn Hale...by means injecting a silicone substance into the body of Marilyn Hale, thereby committing an act eminently dangerous to others and evincing a depraved heart."

Garner was arrested at home, 1020 Peyton Ave. in Jackson. Garner was under house arrest facing charges in another depraved heart murder case involving the death of Atlanta, Georgia, resident Karima Gordon.

Tracey Lynn Garner, formerly known as Morris Garner, was a male who underwent a sex change, according to investigators. She was arrested at her home on Peyton Avenue in Jackson in September for allegedly injecting Gordon with what may be counterfeit silicone used to enhance breasts and buttocks.

According to Attorney General Jim Hood, the victim was an Atlanta military veteran who wanted to be a model. She traveled to Jackson in March for the illegal injection.

"She and one of her friends traveled here, paid Mr. Garner $1,500 at his address 1020 Peyton Avenue in Jackson to have silicone implants in her buttocks," said Hood. "Thirty minutes after leaving she became violently ill."

The Atlanta woman died three days later in an Atlanta hospital.

The connection to the defendant, Tracey Lynn Garner, was made online, according to Hood.

"This started in a chat room," added Hood. "Some woman named Pebbles in New York City, an African American female, she paid $200 to make the connection with Garner here in Jackson."

The FDA and the Mississippi Board of Medical of Licensure were also involved in the six-month investigation.

The Attorney General encourages anyone who may have received a buttocks or breast augmentation from Tracey Garner to call the Consumer Protection Division at 1-800-281-4418.

The trial in this first case has recently been delayed until August.
