HAMILTON, GA (WTVM) -
The Harris County Board of Commissioners and the Harris County Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce the grand opening of the much-awaited Harris County Community Center.
The opening will be held on Sunday Sept. 30 at 3 p.m.
The 42,000 square foot facility contains two basketball courts, a competition size lap pool, an exercise room, a meeting room and a classroom.
The JROTC at Harris County High School will raise the American flag for the first time and the Board of Commissioners will cut the ribbon, followed by remarks from the architect, engineers, and contractors who were instrumental in producing the facility.
Refreshments and tours will follow the ceremony. The public is encouraged to attend.
The Community Center is located at 7509 GA Hwy. 116, Hamilton, GA 31811.
