EVANS, Ga. (AP) - A Georgia is facing criminal charges after three women say he groped their bodies at Walmart stores in Columbia County.
The Augusta Chronicle reports 33-year-old Javantroi Perez Walden has been charged with three counts of misdemeanor sexual battery. Investigators say 1 of the assaults was captured on surveillance video in the store.
Walden was arrested Monday after the gropings were reported at two separate stores Saturday.
A 57-year-old woman told police a man at the Walmart in Evans grabbed her breast and then ran. Less than an hour later, two women shopping at another Walmart in neighboring Martinez reported being groped.
Walden was being held at the Columbia County jail on $19,700 bond. It was unknown if he had an attorney.
