AUBURN, AL (WTVM) -

Raise your paws if you're looking for a fun day out with your favorite four-legged friend.

Lee County Humane Society will hold the 12th annual Woofstock on Saturday, September 29 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Kiesel Park in Auburn. Woofstock is the shelter's largest fundraiser and annual celebration in the park for dog lovers and their canine companions.

Woofstock's family-friendly activities include a children's fun area, K-9 demonstrations, Frisbee dog performances by Team Frank, LCHS adoption tent, a demonstration from the Southeastern Raptor Center, and much more.

Woofstock will offer many activities for four-legged friends including a Wash-N-Wag tent and pet contests. The celebration will feature live music by Hands Up High, No Refunds, and Mike Langlois & Malinda Ash.

Former LCHS adopters may pick up an "LCHS Alumni" bandana for their dog to wear to Woofstock at the shelter beginning September 24.  "LCHS Alumni" bandanas will also be available at the welcome tent, while supplies last.

On behalf of the animals at the shelter, Lee County Humane Society invites the entire community and their dogs to be a part this day of fun and festivities in the park.

Admission is free and there is a small fee for some activities in the park.

Lee County Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the citizens of Lee County through animal rescue, the promotion of responsible animal companionship, and the elimination of pet overpopulation. All proceeds and donations from Woofstock will benefit adoption programs for the animals of Lee County Humane Society.
