It was supposed be a chance for Albany State to score some revenge on Miles College after losing to the Golden Bears in the SIAC Championship last season. But it was Miles sending a message that they will be contenders in the conference for the near future.  Miles beat up on Albany State and handed the Golden Rams its 3rd straight loss, 41-6.

Miles jumped out to a 17-0 before Albany State finally kicked a field goal late in the 2nd quarter to make it 17-3.  The Rams would add another field goal but Miles connected on a 25 yard field goal to make it 20-6 halftime lead.

The second half didn't yield any success for the Rams as the offense was unable to get into any kind of rhythm and the defense was forced into bad situations all night.  ASU now falls to 1-3 on the year and will play Kentucky State in Chicago next week.
