Severe weather is sweeping through the Chattahoochee Valley today, and it may have caused a mess on Highway 80. We'll tell you about the early-morning wrecks and the threat of tornadoes in parts of Alabama. Storm team 9 Chief Meteorologist Derek Kinkade will explain how bad it could get tonight.

A higher court has made its decision on the sentence of a Muscogee County man who was convicted of killing his pregnant wife and dumping her body in a pond.
