Harris Co. 6th grader a national finalist in BK Crown design contest

HARRIS COUNTY, GA (WTVM) -

Hannah Marston, a local Harris County girl, is an 11-year-old  6th grader at Creekside Intermediate, and also one of the four finalists in the nationwide BK CROWN Program's Design the Crown contest!

Over 75,000 kids entered the contest to design their own version of the Burger King crown in hopes of winning a grand prize.

Hannah, who is also a pitcher for the Harris County Little All-Star team and current member of her school's Lego League team, drew inspiration from her imagination to design a crown that has mermaids, dragons, talking clouds and rainbows all leading to a pot of gold filled with Burger King fries, shakes and sandwiches!

In order for Hannah to win she needs the support of her community!

To vote, you must be twelve and under, go to www.bkcrown.com and create a free account!

After, you can follow the prompted directions and vote for Hannah's crown!

The grand prize winner will have their crown featured at Burger Kings all across the country beginning January 2013!

The winner and her family will also receive round trip flight and hotel accommodations for four to their closes LEGOLAND Park, two days free admission for the family to LEGOLAND model shop, as well as Merlin Annual Passes for a family of four to all US Merlin Attractions for an entire year.

Voters have until October 12th to cast their vote.

It's the 15th year of the event and representatives of Mercedes Benz says that this year's raffle is its biggest yet. "To date, we've raised over six-hundred thousand for the Heart Association.
