Chizik calls Arkansas a "dangerous" team to face

AUBURN, AL (WBRC) -

Coming back from a week off, Auburn football head coach Gene Chizik encouraged Auburn fans to continue where they left off two weeks ago in supporting their Tigers.

"I want to encourage them to come back at 11 o'clock in the morning Saturday morning, because this is going to be a great game," Chizik said.

At Auburn's Media Day on Tuesday, Oct. 2, Coach Chizik used the word "dangerous" to describe Arkansas' team and players more than once.

"I know on the outside looking in, Arkansas hasn't, you know, done exactly what they wanted to do and what their expectations were at the beginning of the season, but it's still a very, very good football team that's very dangerous," he said.

Coach Chizik says Saturday's game will be a great SEC West matchup.

"We need to go back out there Saturday and play passionate, and intense, and hopefully play better than we did last time we were out at Jordan-Hare," he said

The Auburn Tigers (1-3) face the Arkansas Razorbacks (1-4) at home on Saturday, Oct. 6. Kickoff is at 11 a.m.
