OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) -

MAX Credit Union will celebrate the grand opening of its new Opelika branch with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, October 5 at 9 a.m. 

The ceremony will be held at the new MAX branch, located at 3021 Frederick Road in Opelika.

The state-of-the-art smart banking center features lobby and drive-through service and will serve members in Opelika, Auburn, and surrounding Lee County communities.

The branch employs six Lee County residents and is managed by Branch Manager Matt Cox.

Scheduled speakers include:

  • Alabama Speaker of the House Mike Hubbard
  • Opelika Mayor Gary Fuller
  • MAX President and CEO Greg McClellan
  • MAX Vice President of Business Development Joe Andrew
  • MAX Opelika Branch Manager Matt Cox

 

As part of the celebration, MAX will also announce the winners of its $10,000 Charity Giveaway. MAX will recognize and present checks totaling a minimum of $10,000 to four Lee County community organizations.
