AUBURN, AL (WTVM) -

ESPNU will be broadcasting live around nation Friday night from Auburn High School's Duck Samford Stadium.  Auburn is taking on Carver in a big football match up on the gridiron.

The pom poms are ready and so are the players. ESPNU is coming to Duck Samford Stadium       Auburn QB Cameron Luper is focused on...well, staying focused during the nationally broadcast game.

"I'm highly excited but we have got to go out and play like its another game. We can't let the fact that it is on ESPN get into our heads," Luper said.

Auburn Coach Tim Carter says the game, to be broadcasted live on ESPNU, is going to be an exciting match-up between two great teams, Auburn and Carver.

"This is a great regional battle, we have got a great game and whoever wins probably has a chance to possibly win the title with the loser probably fighting for second place. So, it is a big game," Carter said.

Principal Todd Freeman said he's proud of the entire school.

"We have over 350 students that will participate Friday night on the football field, from our band, to our cheerleaders, ROTC to our ambassadors so a lot of people go in to make something like this work and I am just honored to be a part of it and to watch it," Freeman said.

Kick off is at 7:00 p.m. central 8:00 p.m. eastern, Friday night. Tickets have been selling all week, so you may want to get to there early if you want a good seat.
