Search for Opelika murder suspect continues

OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) -

Opelika police say they have located a second suspect wanted for questioning in a weekend murder, but the suspect has not been charged.

David Lyles, 39, was found shot to death in front of his home off Chester Avenue in Opelika early Sunday morning. 

Police say a fight broke out between Lyles and two other men.

Labrande Hugley, 30, has been charged with murder.

Police say they have spoken with the second suspect, but did not make an arrest. Instead, the case will go to a Lee County grand jury. They will decide if charges should be filed.

The suspect's identity is not being released at this time.
