Billiard ball thrown through school bus window

HARRIS COUNTY, GA (WTVM) - A Harris County student was hurt Thursday evening when a billiard ball was thrown through a school bus window.

It happened while the high school softball team was returning from a game in Lee County, Georgia Thursday evening according to school spokesman Jeff Branham. Lee County is south of Columbus near Albany.

Branham says the ball crashed through the bus window and one student suffered minor injuries. No one else was hurt.

No one knows why the ball was thrown at the bus but officials don't believe it was in any way connected to the game. The Dawson Georgia Police Department is investigating this incident.
