AUBURN, AL (WTVM) -

The Auburn Police Division told News Leader 9 two men are behind bars after they were allegedly seen stealing a motorized shopping cart from a business. 

Wednesday, authorities arrested Bryant Davis, age 20, and Brian Lambert, age 20, both of Auburn and charged them with theft of property 2nd Degree. 

That same day, patrol officers were called to a business located in the 1700 block of South College Street in reference to a theft.

Officers searched the area and found Davis, Lambert and the cart behind a nearby business.

The duo was arrested and taken to the Lee County Detention Center where their bond was set at $3000 each.
