Man injured after shooting at Liberty gas station

OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) -

The Opelika Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened Tuesday afternoon at the Liberty gas station on Pepperell Parkway around 2:40 p.m.

The victim, a 26-year-old man was taken to the East Alabama Medical Center for treatment. He is expected to be released from the hospital.

A suspect is being sought in the case, but has not been arrested. Witnesses say the suspect left the scene in a black F-150.
