AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Receiver Sammie Coates says the Auburn Tigers had better improve or get used to losing.

Coates offered a blunt assessment of the team's attitude on Tuesday and the redshirt freshman said Auburn doesn't have enough leadership. He says if the Tigers continue "to play like this, we're going to keep losing."

Coach Gene Chizik and linebacker Jake Holland maintain the veterans are leading fine. But Auburn's offense has been the least productive in the SEC and the Tigers rank last nationally in turnover margin.

The Tigers have started 1-4 and lost their first three Southeastern Conference games heading into Saturday's contest at Mississippi.

Quarterbacks Kiehl Frazier and Clint Moseley are battling for the starting job this week. Frazier was benched at halftime of the loss to Arkansas.
