COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Wednesday morning, the Columbus Fire Department put out a fire at the Cannon Brew Pub located on Broadway in downtown Columbus.

Fire crews were dispatched to the business around 10:15 a.m. The fire was located in their exhaust assembly, otherwise known as a pizza oven. There was no other structural damage to the building.

The Cannon told News Leader 9 the restaurant will remain open, but pizza will not be on the menu until the exhaust assembly is repaired.
