On November 6 you will have to opportunity to vote for Sunday alcohol sales in Muscogee County.
Several counties and cities around us have already approved sales on Sunday.
This is a religious issue for some, wanting to keep Sunday sacred. Surprisingly, one of the groups most adamantly opposed is the liquor store owners.
They say it will cost more to keep their stores open on Sunday than they can expect to bring in through Sunday sales.
The stores who could profit most are the convenience stores and supermarkets who are already open on Sunday. They now have to close their alcohol sections on Sunday and not allow anyone to buy alcohol.
Whatever side you favor, make sure you learn the facts and weigh in on this issue with your vote on November 6.
