COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Sharita Shonta Senior, 30, is a wanted suspect the Muscogee County Sheriff's Office doesn't want you to approach.

Senior has warrants for probation violation. Her original charges include armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

"If the public see her, it's just best if they stay clear. She should be considered armed and dangerous as far as I'm concerned", says Muscogee County Sheriff's Deputy Jeffrey Hackey.

Senior is 5'2" and weighs 140 pounds. She has brown eyes and blonde hair. But it's her hair Hackey says may help lead to her arrest. He says she may have changed it to throw off any unwanted attention.

"If you're not sure it's her call anyway. We can still go out there and make contact with her and check her out and make sure she is who she is, and if not, we'll apologize and send her on her way, but it's better to be safe than sorry."

Hackey says Senior's whereabouts are hard to track because there's nothing about her last known address in the system.

"These people, if we do manage to have a last known address for them they may make it a point to avoid those addresses. They're going to move, they'll go and stay with someone else or they simply make sure when they're home they keep everything nice and dark and quiet so nobody knows they're there."

If you know anything about Senior's whereabouts you are asked to contact the Muscogee County Sheriff's Department at (706) 653-4225. Remember, your identity will remain anonymous.
