Local fraternity hosts “Shave to Save” cancer fundraiser

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

The Kappa Sigma fraternity hosted their sixth annual "Shave to Save" Thursday at Columbus State University with the hope of raising thousands of dollars for breast cancer research.

Members of the organization along with the Boyz Barbershop donated their time, shaving heads and dying hair pink, all to raise money for the American Cancer Society.

The fraternity's goal is to raise at least $7,000; currently, they are at more than $6,000.
