News Leader 9 is following a traffic fatality involving a U-Haul truck and a blue Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The head-on collision happened Thursday afternoon around 3:40 p.m. on Highway 85 in Ellerslie, GA.
Georgia State Patrol has confirmed the driver of the Jeep, 71-year-old Oliver Burns, was killed after a head-on collision with the U-Haul truck.
One witness said the Jeep crossed over into the other lane, hitting the U-Haul.
The driver of the U-Haul was taken to the Medical Center. His condition is not known at this time.
