TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -

Tuscaloosa police say a stolen cutout of Nick Saban has been returned to the store after the suspects saw photos of themselves online.

However, the suspects' identities are still unknown. They reportedly dropped off the cutout without giving the cashier their names and left the store, but police say they're not yet off the hook.

Sgt. Brent Blankley says the police still want to find out the identity of the two men caught on camera taking a Nick Saban cutout from a gas station on University Blvd. early Wednesday morning.

Police say while the cashier wasn't looking, one suspect grabbed the cutout of the Crimson Tide coach as the other suspect held open the door for their escape.

They didn't, however, escape capture on the surveillance video inside the gas station. The video shows the suspects entering the BP gas station and later, one suspect grabbing the cutout and carrying it outside.

Sgt. Brent Blankley says the police department reponded to the report of a theft at the gas station around 1 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7.

Officers are hoping that someone who knows the identity of the suspects in the surveillance video will contact them. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Tuscaloosa County Crime Stoppers at 205-752-STOP (7876).
