BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

It's homecoming at LSU so just take a scroll down sorority row, and it's all purple and gold.

The rules include every sorority pairing up with a fraternity to decorate to the year's theme: traditions. The best will be judged Saturday morning.

Around campus, students are getting ready for Saturday's match up especially after last week's heart-wrenching loss.

"I wasn't too disappointed. I mean we lost to the number one team in the country so you can't really be too sad about that. I hope we don't have a hang over from last week's game. I think we'll come out and finish strong," said LSU senior Arun Lamatta.

"I think they're going to come out really prepared for us. It's going to be a hard fought battle for us but hopefully we'll come out with a win," said Bulldogs fan Austin McDavitz.

On the parade grounds, carrots, corn and beans are the means for a Tiger Stadium replica. It's 1/25th of the real thing made completely of more than 20,000 canned goods.

"They're all donated from student organizations, students, faculty, residents," said LSU sophomore volunteer Ka'Sha Bernard.

It's the 3rd annual year for the Canapalooza that LSU puts on in preparation for homecoming. This year, they added Mike's Den, which uses 3,000 cans.

All the cans will be donated to the Greater Baton Rouge food bank.
