We've all heard music soothes the soul, but one Columbus guitar shop says it fills tummies as well.

Gorilla Guitars hosted its 4th annual 'Re-string For Food' event Saturday to collect food for feeding the valley.  You could get a brand new set of guitar strings in exchange for four canned goods.

All donations went to the Feeding the Valley Food Bank.

Gorilla Guitars owner, Glen Giles, said he's happy to help especially during the holiday season.

Over the past three years they've collected more than 600 pounds of food.

The food drive ended Saturday at 4p.m.; however, Giles says anyone wanting to donate food can do so by Monday.
