HARRIS COUNTY, GA (WTVM) -

A missing Harris County woman has been found, and we're told she is safe and sound back with her family.

Virginia Johnson, 83, was last seen leaving College Park near Atlanta Sunday evening at about 5 p.m.

Her family became extremely concerned when she had not shown up at her home in Waverly Hall more than 24 hours later.

Atlanta area police issued a Mattie's alert for the woman and authorities between Columbus and Atlanta searched for her.

Her family tells us she was found in LaGrange Monday night. She had been in an accident and was pinned up against a guardrail.
