NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

More than 20,000 Tennesseans were so upset with the re-election of President Obama they're making a push to secede from the U.S.

Residents in Louisiana first started a petition to secede and then people from other states drew up similar paperwork.

The Huffington Post reports that residents from 30 states have now filed secession petitions.

In order for the petitioned to be considered by the White House, a petition must have 25,000 signatures.
