    Residents in east Alabama are rounding up the Labor Day celebration at one of the Alabama's oldest courthouses. The courthouse located in Seale, Ala. is the third oldest in the state. This is the first fair since 2010 when the fair restarted, and it originated in 1980 to raise money to refurbish the old courthouse after it began to deteriorate.More >>
BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

An eye-sore along Plank Road has been cleaned up, but at the expense of taxpayer dollars.

A public works crew was dispatched Tuesday to pick up hundreds of tires dumped alongside the road.

Department of Public Works says this issue is not limited to this neighborhood; trash sites like this are all over.

The State Department of Environmental Quality is also looking into the issue. If people are caught dumping trash, they could face hefty fines.
