AUBURN, AL (WTVM) -

The man accused of shooting and killing three people, including two Auburn football players, appeared in court Wednesday and requested bond.

We're told the judge overseeing Desmonte Leonard's case will consider written motions by both the defense and prosecution before making a ruling.

Three other people were also injured in the June incident that ended after a manhunt for Leonard that spanned several days.

News Leader 9 will continue following this story. We'll have the latest information as soon as it becomes available.
