    However, an Auburn University research team has created a test using a biosensor that will help doctors go from hours to minutes in identifying super bacteria like MRSA, a type of staph bacteria that can cause deadly skin infections.
COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Authorities are seeking a suspect after an armed robbery that happened around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday at Leslie Drive near Plateau Drive in south Columbus.

The victim told investigators he was struck in the head with a hard object, possibly a board.

More than $1,000 worth of jewelry, cash and other items were taken.

The victim was treated in the emergency room. He suffered a black eye and a swollen face.
