PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A woman in an Ahwatukee Foothills apartment complex was found tied up after an apparent home invasion.

A neighbor called 911 about 2 a.m. Friday to report a man breaking a window and climbing into the apartment near Chandler Boulevard and Desert Foothills Parkway, according to Lt. Matt Giordano of the Phoenix Police Department.

Investigators found the broken window and a woman, who they said is in her 30s, in her bed with her hands tied and blood on her face. She was not seriously injured, according to police.

She was treated at the scene and didn't appear to have been sexually assaulted, police said.

No suspect was found in the house and a subsequent search of the area turned up no suspect.

No other information was immediately available.
