PHOENIX (AP) -

A hearing starting Jan. 22 is scheduled for a campaign finance case involving state Attorney General Tom Horne.

The Arizona Capitol Times reports that an administrative law judge has scheduled the hearing to run six days.

Horne is appealing Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery's findings that Horne illegally coordinated his 2010 campaign with a group that was supposed to be operating independently.

The group aired television advertising critical of Horne's general election opponent.
