PINE MOUNTAIN, GA (WTVM) -

Callaway Gardens Fantasy in Lights was recently named by National Geographic Traveler a "Top 10 Places to See Holiday Lights" and this holiday season marks the year-round destination's 21st anniversary.

A 5-mile stretch of the park features 8 million lights that illuminate 15 larger-than-life holiday scenes.

Spectators can enjoy the lights while driving through in their cars or riding on a trolley. All of the electricity used for the show is powered by wind power credits.

In addition to the main attraction, visitors have an opportunity to meet Santa and other seasonal characters.

For additional details about Fantasy in Lights or staying overnight at Callaway Gardens, call 1-800-CALLAWAY or visit www.callawaygardens.com.

This year's holiday light display took nearly 4,000 man hours to create and will remain open until Sunday, December 30, 2012.
