Georgia Southwestern comes alive in 2nd half to beat Albany St.

AMERICUS, GA (WALB) -

The Albany St. basketball team showed some promise after coming out strong against Georgia Southwestern.  The Rams led by as many as 12 points in the first half before the Canes cut the deficit to 4 points going into the half.  The second half belong to the home team Canes in what was a 59-50 win for Georgia Southwestern.

Alan Arnett lead the Canes with 15 points, Matt Shaw added 12 points and 7 rebounds.  Albany State's Justin Udi led all scorers with 19 points off the bench.  The Canes are now 2-2 on the season and will host North Alabama on Tuesday.  Albany St. will play at Valdosta St. on Tuesday.
