Alabama Governor Robert
Bentley kicked off the Salvation Army kettle campaign Monday on the steps of
the Alabama Capital in Montgomery today.
Bentley launched the 2012
campaign which provides found to the Salvation Army for emergency shelter,
food, clothing and day-to-day assistance.
Governor Bentley said he
was more than happy to be a part of something so great. The Salvation Army also
ministers to the spiritual needs of people in the area.
