Faircloth pens instruction for a striving church community, able to produce disciples
Maitland, FL (PRWEB) November 20, 2012
Within the pages of Samuel D. Faircloth’s new book, Church Planting For Reproduction ($15.99, paperback, 978-1-62230-762-3; $7.99, e-book, 978-1-62230-763-0) readers will gain a clear understanding of what a “healthy, reproducing church” consists of. The author also teaches how to determine what any existing church may be lacking in its approach to ministry objectives, helpful for improvement. The information in this book is vital for missionary reproduction.
“My book is unique: I know of no other book like it,” states the author. “It is adaptable to all cultural situations because it zeros in on the fundamentals of reproduction. Missionary church planters normally face tremendous odds. Planting churches that will reproduce themselves is essential to missionary strategy.”
Samuel D. Faircloth served as a U.S. Army Chaplain in Italy, WWII and as a missionary teacher and church planter in Portugal for thirty-six years. He has also served as academic dean and professor of missions and church history in the Netherlands for six years, continuing as adjunct professor until 2010. He is a graduate of Wheaton College, Illinois, B.S., Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Philadelphia, M.Div., Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, D. Miss. He also has done doctoral studies toward the PhD in Church History at the University of Chicago. The author resides in Windsor Park Manor, in Carol Stream, Illinois with his wife, Betty.
