Last week, he was TAG 375, and his future was uncertain at Animal Control. Today, his name is Jackson, and he's the newest member of the Fleck family… just in time to celebrate Thanksgiving.

Amanda Fleck saw Jackson and his three siblings on the Animal Control website. She decided to rescue all of them, and try to re-home them herself.

When she arrived, only two were left, TAG 375 and his brother. She got them both, and was able find another home for his brother shortly after.

Jackson has two new siblings; a pair of Chihuahuas. But his favorite family member is the Fleck's 9-month-old daughter, Emerson.

Jackson's rescue is one to celebrate, but there are still many deserving animals in the shelter, waiting for their own rescue. The cost of adopting, around $60, includes a voucher to have your animal spayed or neutered. For that small price, you'll give an animal a second chance at life. You'll also be provided with unconditional love throughout the holiday season, and beyond.
