COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -
News Leader 9 is following a report of a person trying to solicit children from a vehicle.
Sources say a Columbus police officer pulled over a tan SUV that matched the description of a suspect trying to get children to come to it - which is when the driver took off.
News Leader 9 was also told the vehicle was later found parked in Elizabeth Canty Apartments and was towed.
