Reports: 3 interview this week for Auburn head football coach

AUBURN, AL (WTVM) -

Auburn football fans are starting to get a little antsy. When are the Tigers going to hire a new coach?

News Leader 9 has heard reports that Arkansas State University Head Coach Gus Malzahn, Alabama Defensive Coordinator Kirby Smart, and Clemson Offensive Coordinator Chad Morris will interview for the position this week.

We have not heard a lot of talk about former Arkansas Coach Bobby Petrino. He reportedly has not been contacted for an interview, but that could change.

Auburn has been looking for a new head coach since firing Gene Chizik on November 25.

There also could be some other wild card candidates. News Leader 9 will keep you posted.

Who do you think should be Auburn's next head coach? Just comment below or join the conversation on Facebook and Twitter
