    Beginning in July, Stewart County will have a new superintendent of schools.  Dianne Watkins was voted in by the school board to replace Floyd Fort, who is moving to Pelham City.

TROUP COUNTY, GA (WTVM) -

Voters in Troup County were back at the polls Tuesday for a run-off election for county sheriff.

James Woodruff won the race after getting 61 percent of the vote. He beat Ruben Hairston, who received 39 percent of the vote.

Woodruff beat incumbent Sheriff Donny Turner in the Republican primary over the summer.
