BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
I-10 West past Highland Road is open again after a multi-vehicle crash.
A witness reported the four-vehicle wreck blocked the left lane and part of the right lane. All lanes were reopened around 8:15 a.m.
Traffic was backed up for miles as many drivers tried to get to work. There were no reports of injuries.
The witness added larger vehicles (18-wheelers with trailers) had trouble getting through the accident area, leading to more delays for drivers.
Note: The truck on the right was not part of the crash. It is one of those larger vehicles having trouble getting through it.
There was also a stalled 18-wheeler in the right lane a little past this wreck, creating an "S" curve for drivers to maneuver through.
