LAGRANGE, GA (WTVM) -

One person is dead and two more are injured after a collision involving three cars early Wednesday morning in LaGrange.

The LaGrange Police Department responded to the intersection of Roanoke Road and Vernon Road at approximately 7:40 a.m. on December 12 after reports of a vehicle accident.

Upon arrival, they determined that 77-year-old Dennis Rosendahl lost control of his vehicle, a 2011 Ford Escape, and collided with a 2001 Toyota Camry driven by 30-year-old Dawn Williams.

After colliding with the Toyota, Rosendahl's vehicle collided with a 2003 Chevrolet Trail Blazer driven by 35-year-old Mitzi Dirks. Following this, Rosendahl's vehicle rolled over Dirk's vehicle.

Rosendahl was transported to West Georgia Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Hilda Rosendahl, who was the front seat passenger, was transported to West Georgia Medical Center where she was treated for minor injuries and released.

Dirks was also transported to West Georgia Medical Center and released after being treated for minor injuries.
